City & Province Location of the Job:
Toronto, Ontario. The assignment involves some travel to Thunder Bay – 2 times per month with 1 day stayed.

Working Hours:
The Client’s normal working hours are 7.25 hours per day, normal working hours: 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.

Total number of days:
127 Business Days

4. Desired Hourly Rate: Provide your hourly rate in CAD dollars.
5. Corporate Status: Confirm that you are incorporated.
6. Security Screening: Provide your Contractor Security Screening Clearance number. If you do not have the security screening number, confirm that should you become the successful candidate for this project, you agree to undergo the security screening as requested by the client.

Project - Current IT Environment:
The IT environment consists of a series of custom developed application systems that run on AS/400 technology. In the last few years, web enabled applications have been supported, and over 95% of applications are now received via the web.

Project - New IT Environment:
The new operating environment will use Oracle e-business, Oracle 10g, ILog rules engine, Stellent Content Manager, BPEL Workflow Manager, and mercury Testing tools. The solution will be based on Sun hardware, Sun Solaris operating system, and Sun SAN storage

Scope of Services and Deliverables:
Our client is seeking the services of a Technology Architect who will provide the following Services and Deliverables:
• Install and configure Oracle UCM. Design document repository for developing and deploying web sites using Web Content Manager
• Design and configure overall human workflow model and obtain approval from the business
• Design and configure overall collaboration model and obtain approval from the business
• Design and prepare functional specifications of security model
• Identify and recommend alternatives within the technical solution
• Provide technical assistance to other team members
• Provide regular weekly status report

Experience and Qualifications:
The Technology Architect must have at least eight (8) years experience in technical delivery of large scale and complex IT Projects:
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Universal Content Manager 10gR3 with practical experience in all modules of Oracle (Stellent) Web Content Manager
• Must have at least 7 years experience in leading web site / portal developments and content management
• Must have architected at least 2 large-scale web sites using Oracle (Stellent) Web Content Management focusing on Site Studio
• Must have installation and commissioning experience of Web Content Manager and its associated products / tools
• Experience in identifying technical options to meet functional requirements and their respective SWOT analysis leading to a recommendation appropriate for the project
• Experience in overall architecture, detailed design and development of metadata and security models
• Exposed to Java, Unix Sun Solaris 10, Oracle 10g, Windows 2003 Server and Web Application Servers
• Demonstrated analytical abilities
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with the business
• Team player with a good track record for meeting deadlines
• An understanding of the Ontario Government’s student funding program is an asset.

Billing and Payment Process:
You will be required to complete client's Billing Report along with a copy of the Timesheet(s) by the 3rd business day of the following month. Once the billing details are verified by the client, we will be notified to submit the invoice for payment.
